See the modern stuff, Chris, but don't summarily schluff off the old stuff!

I remember, as a Freshman, going to the National Gallery and being stunned by the beauty and power of Gilbert Stuart's "The Skater." And I've been going to every art museum I can ever since.

The weather misery index in DC in the summer is very high. If you need a break from it, take a pleasant drive on the GW Parkway in Virginia to Great Falls Park.

Looks like it's been two years in the making ... have a great trip!

THANKS!

We missed Ben's Chili Bowl in 2008, going to visit that one for sure this time around. We saw some of the sites our LL friends suggested: National Visionary Arts Museum, Kennedy Center, Metro... looking forward to the rest.
