Postby watchthetramcarplease » Sun Oct 19, 2008 5:44 pm

Way Cool & Very Jetsons Designed Motels of Wildwood http://www.doowopusa.org/pop-doowopmotels.html & of course I have to brag at the one I Manage http://www.caribbeanmotel.com/ I am a huge Preservationist here on the Island & already saw 122 Doo-Wop Motels die to the wrecking-ball, and now the 'Suits' have put a Stop (thank God) to it. Enjoy Our Island! Kory[/b]

I'll be at the Caribbean this weekend, can't wait! First saw it 15 years ago and always wanted to stay there. Will be snapping photos a plenty of it and Wildwood in general for future Retro Roadmap posts, sooo excited!

the wife and I also enjoyed a fun vacation in Wildwood this summer! Took the doo-wop bus tour, very information packed!

he Caribbean is definitely one of the hotter joints in town, along with the Starlux and the PanAm.

Here is a link to the pics from our trip: http://www.zdphotos.com/wildwood/

note the grey clouds! didn't get great pics of The Caribbean, but pics don't do it justice anyways.

didn't stay in a hotel, we rented a house. It was our first trip with a bunch of family so we found a joint that would house us all. but several of them were very accomodating regarding photography.

Worth mentioning that some of those shots are the interior of the doo-wop preservation league's visitor center/museum. definitely worth checking out!

Those photos had me thinking about when I can go there!
