Name: Black Mountain Club House
Architect/Year: Bob Baldock/1958
Type: Golf Course Club House
Street: Greenway Road (North of the present club house, where the road is.)
City: Henderson
State: Nevada
Zip: 89002
Country: U.S.A.
Phone:
Status: Demolished
Description: Built for the Black Mountain Golf Course. The club house featured a cocktail lounge, dining room and swimming pool. I always enjoyed riding by the building when I was a kid. It was a dark olive green and had floor to ceiling windows. Surrounding the building was a lush garden of old shade trees and foliage. Unfortunately, the building was razed to re-align Greenway Road.

I didn't realize Henderson was such a happening place. The only time I've been there was to stop in at Ron Lee's World of Clowns, and that must have been on the outskirts of town.

Just as an FYI, sorry to say, the World of Clowns is gone. It's now a D.R. Horton new homes sales office.
Keep on keepin' on,
