i did manage to swing by gander airport last week. just a quick 5 min.
off my route across the island on the TCH, trans canadian highway.
stunning terazzo floor.

sad to report that the nice man i spoke to the day before was not
there. he would have showed me around. it was desolate and quiet.
almost ghost-like. i wanted to see the VIP lounge and the powder room,
described as pink, gray and maroon with
eames chairs opposite a long mirror.
the long prismasteel seating was designed by Robin
Bush for Herman Miller.
some pretty amazing yellow and orange couches on the mezanine.
pushed aside cockeyed. sad really.
i'll post more pics.
