I have always enjoyed visiting the Long Beach terminal. At least the main building; the prefab boarding areas leave a bit to be desired. :wink: I had no idea they did tours, though--I'll have to check that out next time I'm flying out there.

My one complaint about the terminal is that the bar upstairs is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too small. :oops:

I actually like the small bar, it is very comfortable. I try to fly out of Long Beach as often as possible. Not only because of the ease of parking, and only two Gates, but the wonderful steamline moderne design. I hope Long Beach doesn't mess it up.

I think the tarmac appeared in the movie 'The Bachelor and the Bobby Soxer' - the one with Cary Grant, Myrna Loy and Shirley Temple.
