Free Tour Fox Village, Bruin, Crest -- April 17

Postby Gnomus » Fri Apr 09, 2010 4:41 pm

Theater fans, come down to Westwood Village on Saturday, April 17, and tour not one, but three classic movie theaters! Learn the histories of Westwood and the Fox Village, Bruin, and Majestic Crest from ace theater historian Ed Kelsey. Tour the buildings and take photos.

The show starts at the Fox Village.

Note the early start time: Doors open at 9 a.m., presentation starts at 9:15 a.m. (remember--these guys have matinees to prepare for!).

a bit late on the draw here, but... Do you know who put this program together?
I'm gonna keep on the run... I'm gonna have me some fun if it costs me my very last dime.
If I wind up broke up, well, I'll always remember that I had a swingin' time

Yes, this is the Los Angeles Historic Theatre Foundation. Sometimes I get so enthusiastic about events that I forget little details like who we are!

The web site posted is correct. We also have an active Facebook page and are known for giving comprehensive tours of historic theatres. We recently partnered with Bringing Back Broadway 100 to help them present the restored Palace Theatre to the public.
