LA, United Artists Theatre tour, Dec 11

Postby Gnomus » Mon Nov 29, 2010 10:03 am

Los Angeles Historic Theatre Foundation is offering a rare opportunity to see the United Artists in downtown LA, 933 S Broadway, on Saturday, December 11th. This theater has been closed to the public for over 20 years.

There will be a special full access members-only tour starting at 9:30 a.m. This is a great time to join -- memberships are only $25.

At 11 a.m., the doors open for the general public, who will be treated to an auditorium light show, one of Ed Kelsey's informative and fun history presentations, and a tour. NOTE: TICKETS ARE LIMITED and priced at $10. You can buy your ticket now at:

http://www.lahtf.org/

See the Heinsbergen murals of the Hollywood stars!
See Mary Pickford's private screening room!
See the decorative asbestos curtain rescued from the Carthay Circle Theatre!
