I'm putting it on the calendar. Did you let the Foothill Moderns on this board know about it, maybe they will blog it since it is a local event for us in the CV?

Devildogranch, Bammer, josquin are the other area locals.

Devil Dog's house is part of the Sunland-Tujunga Historic Home Tour this weekend.

The Great Brigandi and I will probably carpool up from O.C.

Looking forward to the lecture and seeing everyone.

CJ

P.S. - I bet this will be the biggest turnout the historical society ever had! They won't know what to do with us all!

This sounds amazing, but I haven't missed a modcom meeting since 1988

Would you ever restage it? Maybe at/near Knotts?

Just a reminder - next Monday, May 21st at
7pm for the La Crescenta Historical Society. Admission is free, but I've invited
quite a few people, so I would try & get there early. The address is 4845 Dunsmore
Ave., La Crescenta, CA. 91214 It should be fun - I will be showing slides &
rare film footage....

Hope to see you there!

Incredible images. Thank you Chris for sharing your massive amounts of research with all of us. I am truly excited about that book.

(The more photos of Knott's Bear-y Tales, the better!)

Thank you all for coming! The turnout was greater than I had hoped - even members of the Knott family were there!

I had a blast putting it all together... Look for the book in June of 2008!

Interesting! Most of the "old" footage was not from Knott's though... Some of the clips at the end were... But I did notice a few photos I didn't have! I guess I better call the farm. Thanks for pointing this out - I didn't know about it at all!
