There's 2 houses in
my neighborhood, I think one just never took theirs down and the other put up those LED lights. There's another house that goes all out for several holidays-the put up all that blow up stuff for this halloween and put up stuff like that for christmas last year (and they're animated!)
So is that starburst thingy at Lowe's or HD? It's kinda cool lookin.

years ago i bought the solar three-pack at HD. cheap, and ugly but did the job to light a path
to a summer home out-house. lasted two summers. thought i would check and see if anything
new has come along in the same arena, but of better quality...not much luck, but some wacky
stuff out there, http://solarlightspro.com/unique_solar_lights.html
my aluminum tree with color wheel seems to be my only holiday flair.
with so much glass and clerestories, the color wheel itself is a whole house festivity.
and a few neighbors have enough gack in their yards for all of us. one especially great vintage
santa and reindeer strung high up between two tree is special. (up year round, but lost in leaves
in the summer and only lit during Dec.)
