It's a Tudor revival, no? My first house purchase was a 2/1 Tudor revival bungalow. It actually lived extremely well. No wasted space. Plenty of light. Good, solid, ca. 1929 construction.

By contrast, I grew up in a series of plain-brown-wrapper ranches, a split foyer, and one odd stucco box in New Mexico. The tudor needed a few more closets, but it was pretty high on the adorable chart.

There are many examples, taken to an extreme fantasy level in the Hollywood hills. Storybook I guess you would call them. These Tudors are scaled down to a middle class bungalow size.

My teen years were spent in a Liverpool row house like these, with an occasional glimpse of American TV shows that had us all amazed at the luxury you Americans lived in.
