A Home I designed on the Big Island of Hawaii. It was elevator-ready. Sadly we had to build this when the owner's son was made a parapalegic by
a big wave when the house was under construction.

Over the years I’ve done a number of these Home
Elevators- they’ve all worked out very well. Those
considering a multi-story home may be daunted by
the stairs and those listing same for sale may wish t
o have a solution in hand before the question arises.
Of course, it depends on the people involved. While
our first homes were all tall ones with stairs to keep
us in shape for skiing and hiking season, our present
one story home works just great for us. Here’s a home
I did on Hawaii's Big Island that had been designed to be
elevator-ready. Sadly it turned out to be needed because
the owner's son was made a parapalegic by a big wave
while he was surfing.
