70's Mod wallpaper source?

Postby Ian M » Sun Aug 21, 2005 6:37 pm

My sister and brother-in-law just purchased a '70s modern style home (a rarity in this area of vinyl sided Mc Mansions that are popping up everywhere..) and intend to furnish it appropriately.

They have been looking around the net for cool 70's style wallpaper and fabric,it seems most sources tend to be in the UK or Germany.

Is there a good source here in the US? I am aware of Melinamade, are there any others? Something along these lines: http://www.wallpaperfromthe70s.com/

I know the 70's era stuff is kinda out of the scope of this group, but If anybody would know,It would be someone here..

A lot of the Marimekko fabric designs are still in production; you can buy them here:

I'm not aware of any sites that sell 70s wallpaper, but I do see dead-stock rolls of it on ebay quite frequently.

Hello there-
I found this store in Palm Springs. There's a lot on their website but in the actual store there's books and books of awesome wallpaper. Hope this helps you! http://www.psmodhome.com/coverings.html

Try this: Flavorleague.com Funky. Florence Broadhurst has great foils.

Astek has dead stock of foils and felt that are just great.

Bradbury & Bradbury has a new line of mod wallpaper.. more '60s than '70s but here's a good place to post it. Also check out their other modern sets...
