Chicago Bauhaus & Beyond hosted a book release party May 23 at Deever Rockwell's House On A Bluff, one of the houses in the book. It's stunning, a sort of Farnsworth House with the bugs ironed out, and spectacularly sited. Rockwell himself attended the party and talked about the house.

A book-signing event/lunchtime lecture is scheduled at the Chicago Architecture Foundation on Wednesday, June 23 at 12:15 p.m. At least one other signing event is in the works at another of the featured houses. Check in here as details become available:
