scandinavian recliner needs maintenance

Postby vivalet » Sun Dec 11, 2011 2:08 pm

I have a danish? norwegian? recliner with ottoman with a broken latch. The latch is to keep the chair on the upright position and able to connect with the ottoman.

The piece of metal in the cross bar which the latch attaches to is lost and I would like to have it replaced. Does anyone have recommendations on where to have this done in the Los Angeles region? thanks!

Also, equally interested in getting this chair ID'd. My parents purchased it in Sweden in 1963. My grandparents had one as well with a fabric upholstery.
