Hmmm, they might be a little stale by now.

Mr. Roadsidepictures - what's your take on the new mr. pringle?
I'd say boo-hoo. up til now, they had been pretty consistent with mr. pringle's visage....

WOW...I actually worked for Procter & Gamble in the 70s and was on the testing panel that finally chose the particula flavor you enjoy so much...and the design of the original cans. when we moved to LA from Cincinnati I had my in-laws ship me a case of Pringles once a month because they were not available here.
Thanks for the blast from the past.

Geez, I can't believe it's already been five years since I posted this! Pringles turned 40 years old! I really think Procter & Gamble should have done something like come out with a reproduction of the original can.

Asastre: That's so neat! Do you recall what other can designs they had?

Roadside, you should join the Pringles National Consumer Advisory Panel:

(Go to just http://www.pringles.com too - some interesting stuff there.)

Wasn't it Pringle's that wanted to make a "light" version, but it kept turning out bad, flavor-wise. So instead of bringing the fat level down, they actually boosted the fat in the regular product -- and that's how they finally qualified the new version as a "light" product.
