Who do we contact and HOW do we contact someone for help questions that are not in the F.A.Q.s or basic help section?

Well that very question for one thing....When we have a question or need help where do we go? What link do we use? And .....What would cause my post to disappear? I've had some other questions but they have worked themselves out by now. Thanks!

Oh and why do new members have "Modern Groupie" above their names? How long or how many posts later does that change?

I think it is just getting used to a different format.
post short ones at first until you get used to it. I often get denied and 'try again later' or disappearing posts.
nice to hear from New Orleans. (i lived on Grand rt st John, and above and next to Snug Harbor at one time).
i find it helpful to hit 'Preview' first. just to check your post, before hitting 'Submit'.
Also, being in a different time zone from the west coast seems to affect certain hours?
(and you added an avitar! i gave that up a long time ago) i know it is easy, but mine didn't take...twice.
I do think overall it is one of the easier formats to follow.
HELP! is most often the 'mid-century modern home section'. (household help)
other help is up to you, and hopefully no one will scold you for any efforts elsewhere. It is in my opinion a great
achievement by the creators of such a site to make this available for some of us to discuss such sillies as a door knob.
and the main interests being preservation, most dedicated to this site are very active and busy, but will help you with a specific question.
