Dirt Diva wrote:"Flounder" here-will episode 6 involve a "Willard"?
Sorry Dirt Diva; no Willard, no Wizard, no Boca Breeze, no muffin tops or bottoms, no urban sombrero, no man hands, no low talkers, no bad-breaker-uppers, no Junior Mints, no puffy shirts, no man-siere, no names that rhyme with female body parts, no Puddy, no Uncle Leo, and no soup for you!
But I must say, DD, that unlike those Bizarro posts immediately above yours, at least yours was quote-worthy.

Episode 6: The Lawyer.
{At the lawyer's office}
He's the best attorney on Lotta Living, MRU. He's never lost a case.
{speaking rapidly} Enough chit-chat. Why are you here?
{Chico's Bail Bonds}
Well, it's a personal injury case.
A personal injury case! I'll decide what kind of case you have. Go on - who was injured - how were they injured - what were the injuries?
It was me ... I'm the injured party. I was checking out a tract of MCM homes, and I was trying to get a closer look at the cementitious roof tiles ....
Cementitious roof tiles! Who said they cementitious roof tiles? Can you prove they were cementitious roof tiles?
Well, I think they were cementitious roof tiles. There were these roofers, you see, and it was kind of my fault because I bumped into their ladder.
Who said if it was your fault? Did I ask if it was your fault? I'll tell you if it was your fault.
Anyway, the next thing I knew, a roof tile hit me in the mouth, and knocked out my tooth.
So, what you're saying is that due to the recklessness of the defendants on the roof, you lost a tooth. Is that the truth?
Yes. Yes. That's it - exactly.
The Bastards!
What about emotional distress? Did you suffer emotional distress?
Yes. Ever since the accident, I've had this problem ... with eh ... with shrinkage.
Shrinkage?! What do you mean shrinkage?
Well, it's ... eh ... when ...
Never mind. I know what shrinkage is. I just don't know anything about it, if you know what I mean.
For the record, if you please, I don't know anything about it either.
Well, that is most certainly an emotion most distressful. How much shrinkage are we talking about?
Fifty percent; my memory shrank by about half. So, have I got a case?
Have you got a case! Members of the jury, we will prove that the defendants are audacious and fallacious, and on that day, they were on the roof, and not only did the plaintiff lose a tooth, but there's linkage to his shrinkage. My name is L.A.kevin, and I've never lost a case.
You see - I told you he was the best! Sue the Bastards!

Sorry, LAK. It was a tough call. There’s one LL member I knew to be an attorney (Franklin Hills) but he didn’t have an avatar, and not enough posts to be recognizable. Then, I was going to use I_Luv_Power because he’s got that great Butthead avatar … but in the end LA Kevin reminded me of LA Law, and so you were it.
You have sort of a non-speaking part in my next feature thread.

I go away for a weeks vacation and all hell breaks loose in LottaLiving Land. Sky may be a nutcase, but he's OUR nutcase. Lots of fun, and what engaging dialogue! He should be a screenwriter!

Well... after bathing in lye soap, I feel much better after being cast as a lawyer.
I hope you let me have one of those cool buisness cards on the show like that lawyer on the Simpsons.
(PS: to any lawyers on the list- you know I'm only kidding about the lawyer jokes, but then you've probably gotten thick skin from being in the profession. One of my best freinds is a lawyer!)

No, Flounder, No!
That's a big hanging curve that you just served up. But, I can't swing at it; I like you too much - especially now that you've taken on such an historically great nickname.
I really want to take a swing at it, but I just can't.
Nuts.

Dirt Diva: What happened to my Flounder? You're not still being koi with me, are you?
Joe: I followed your advice and watched "Animal House" this weekend, including some of the extras where they talked about filming in Eugene and Cottage Grove. Then, I took the quiz and scored 19/20!

Well Sky, 19/20 isn't exactly Delta House material.
Last year, they had an anniversary parade in Cottage Grove for the movie (Flounder was there, along with others). The set the world record for the largest toga party ever. Problem was, they ran up against a Duck football home game. Folks who would appreciate it the most. A couple older brothers of guys in my fraternity were extras in the movie.

My DVD is an older one - not the special anniversary edition - but in the extras, they talked about how Landis got the cast there early so they could mix with the local indigenous frats - both Delta types and Omega types. The actress who played Katy described an incident where one of the actors - not necessarily the one who played Otter - but someone who acted as Otter with the girl friend of said local indigenous frat boy.
I'm ashamed of my trivia score. I'm sure I could have done worse had I been drinking. It's still early.

What happened to my Flounder? You're not still being koi with me, are you?
I've had to be Koi ever since sigmund the sea monster accosted me at the shore......
Hey is that the sheepdog of my beloved Doris Day from please don't eat the daisys with Cousin It?
I'm sure I could have done worse had I been drinking
I bet if I was drinking I would have done much much better on the quiz (8 out of 20!). But Flounder have a drinking problem, it gets diluted in sea water! and THATS a problem!
