Went to the MOLAA exhibition today; very good, and very important to read the captions closely in order to understand the relation of each piece to the exhibition's theme.

Since we were close, we also went to the Historical Society of Long Beach exhibition on the WPA rebuilding of the city after the earthquake.

If you love Art Deco, you'll love the HSLB exhibition, though it's relatively small.

Dave

PS We've now been to: LACMA (great); A+D (???); MOCA Grand (great); MOCA Geffen (nice); Redcat (so-so); Getty (very good); Schindler House (great); and MOLAA (very good); probably going to the Autry soon.

Does anyone have comments about the Hammer PST exhibition?

AMOCA exhibit

Postby davidk6 » Sun Mar 25, 2012 2:21 pm

We were at the AMOCA exhibit in Pomona, as part of the Millard sheets tour. It's closing March 31, but very much worth visiting if at all possible.
