Loved this lil' display. Check out all our old friends from Pomona.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Paul Knoll

Growing up in post-war Southern California, my worldview was formed through a car window filled with signs of a Jetsons’ future. The Pomona Valley remains rich in these architectural artifacts. Translated into clay, they take on a strong sculptural presence, which still speaks to a sense of optimism and whimsy. Bold and colorful, these sculptures represent a sharp departure from a thirty year body of work emphasizing the quiet, intimate, organic qualities of clay. I find this liberating.
